Assist the Local Church
The church is the visible body of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the love of our Lord is experienced by the world through the body of Christ. CAN framework is committed to assisting the church in equipping its members to be witnesses so their family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers may experience Christ and be added to the church.
When people decide to believe in Jesus Christ they become part of the church for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. If any of the witnessing team members have deeper spiritual, theological, or doctrinal questions, they must reach out to their pastors. CAN is not a church, it is not part of any church, nor will it become a church. CAN is not to replace any ministry of the church because our call is only to assist the church.
CAN framework can also be used by organizations and groups because the ultimate purpose is to equip Christians to be witnesses so people may added to the church.
Many Christians deeply desire, fervently pray, and some sincerely try to share the gospel, but their efforts often end up in unpleasant conversations and strained relationships. As a result, they are afraid to talk about God again. CAN framework is designed to rekindle their passion, relying on the Holy Spirit to guide them, get them connected to a team for support, and shape them as witnesses.
Equip The Believers
Rekindle
Many believers have the desire to share the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ with their family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. However, many have tried, failed, and are afraid to try again. Our strategy starts with rekindle that passion they have for the lost.
Empower
Sharing the Gospel with those who already have reasons against it, can push them further away from God. We may not know what is going on in their personal lives, but God does. The Holy Spirit empowers us to understand, listen, speak, and behave in a way that meets the deep needs of those individuals.
CONNECT
Jesus is God, He could have done it all by Himself, instead He worked as a team. He modelled it for us. Everything in life is a teamwork, family, church, work, fun, studies, sports, etc. Teams may not always make you feel comfortable, but it will make you grow stronger towards the purpose. CAN connect believers to a tam or help them build one.
